Is an internationally renowned master of bronze sculpture. Galeria Vallarta has represented his sculptures exclusively in Puerto Vallarta for a number of years. He sculpts with live models in his studio-foundry in Mexico City.His theme is the beauty and grace of the Latin American women. He has studied all the native costumes of the various regions of Mexico and meticulously reproduces the embroidery, lace and draping of these beautiful dresses in bronze. He pays close attention to the hair styles and head coverings. His ladies all have exotic names such as Carmen, Raquel, Jimena, Xochitl, etc. and are noted for the fine detail of the fingers and toes of their bare feet.
Victor Gutierrez is the third generation of a family of sculptors, who have produced major monuments throughout Mexico, Europe and the United States. He sent a bronze sculpture of the Angel of Independence, which graces Avenida Reforma in Mexico City, to the Olympic Games in Bejing. Victor also produces serigraphs of his lovely ladies in limited editions available on order
